There is a light vertical crease to the rear panel of the dust jacket. Unpaginated. The minimal text is printed in green & yellow over full- and double-page color illustrations by Barry Moser. Very good.

Moser's paintings were executed in ink and transparent watercolor on paper handmade by Simon Green at the Barcham Green Mills, Maidston, Kent, U.K. The calligraphy is by Reassurance Wunder. The book was designed by Barry Moser and Christine Kettner. Dust jacket present.

The binding is lightly rubbed & bumped with slight fraying to the corners. The head & tail of the spine are lightly chipped & frayed. vi & 192 pages. Illustrated with more than 40 wood-engravings in the text, some signed "N. Orr"', "Howland" and "C. B. Cogswell". There is an owner's pencil name dated 1854 on the front endpaper. A very good, attractive copy.

Among the contents of the twelve issues of this monthly magazine are a two-part article on Patagonian missionaries, a piece on the wreck of the "San Francisco", and an engraving, with commentary, of the Crystal Palace in New York City.
