Printed by D. B. Updike of the Merrymount Press, but disowned by him due to poor scholarship [Bianchi 269].

The book is annotated with a very few pencil notes and corrections. According to the archivist of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum "the signature and marginalia is the writing of Morris Carter, first director of the museum (and former librarian of the MFA, Boston)."

Decorated with black and white headpieces and decorative initials in red. There is some occasional minor foxing. A very good unopened copy.

Of a total edition of 100 copies, this is one of 95 copies printed on Holland paper.
