Tapiola was a Finnish new town created by a private nonprofit enterprise called Asuntosaatio [The Housing Foundation], which was founded in 1951 by social and trade organizations. The aim was to create a town in which different social groups could work and live in harmony together. Heikki von Hertzen was an initiator and leader of the project. Paul D. Spreiregen provided an outside view.

Catalog for an exhibition held at the Prumyslove Muzeum and the Moravska Galerie in the fall and winter of 1978. This is the first volume [complete in itself] of a three-part catalog on Czech functionalism. In addition to a large section of illustrations, it includes numerous biographies of the architects involved in the movement.

The text is in Czech with an essay on Czech Functionalism in German. Dust jacket present.
