Three volumes uniformly bound in burgundy cloth, titled in gilt on the spines with a monograph in gilt on the front covers. The corners of the books are bumped. The pagination is as follows: volume 1: pages [i]-xli, [i], [1]-378 & [1]; volume 2: pages [i]-v, [i], 379-791 & [1]; volume 3: pages [i]-v, [i], 793-1320 & [1]. Each volume is illustrated with a frontispiece and several plates. Near fine. A reprint of the 1940 edition with new material, limited to 700 sets. A significant catalog listing the over 1,100 books plus autograph and manuscript material in the Carl H. Pforzheimer library. From the library of the noted Shelley scholar Donald H. Reiman, signed and dated by him at the front of each volume. The noted Shelley scholar Donald H. Reiman was co-editor of "Shelley and His Circle". Reiman wrote, edited (or co-edited) approximately 200 volumes of literary criticism and was the general editor of the "Manuscripts of the Younger Romantics" and "The Bodleian Shelley Manuscripts" among many other works. He was a founder of the Byron Society of America and of the Wordsworth-Coleridge Association, and several other literary societies. His rare book collection is in a special collection of the University of Delaware Library.

Very good.

On pages 22 and 23 is a complete listing of the types and ornaments used in the advertisements. There is also a reproduction of a congratulatory letter from Bruce Rogers to the company.
