A beautifully illustrated catalog of Paul Delvaux's drawings and first lithographs with an original lithograph by Delvaux illustrating the cover. "La couverture du present ouvrage est une lithographie originale de Paul Delvaux specialement executee par l'artiste pour cette exposition." The lithograph was printed by Mourlot.

The lithgograph gracing the cover of this catalog is a different image from that which appeared on the cover of a later 1969 catalog.

The Belgian painter and artist Paul Delvaux (1897- 1994) was perhaps most famous for his surrealist paintings of female nudes.
