There is a long crease to the bottom edge of the rear panel & its top edge is creased & chipped. There is a piece out of the head of the jacket spine. viii & 95 pages. Profusely illustrated in black & white and color. The book is slightly bowed. Very good in a fair dust jacket.

Edited and with text by Robert A. Sobieszek. Preface by Kenneth Donney.

Born in the United States, Florence Henri spent most of her life in France. Initially a student of painting, she participated in the most advanced art movements of the time--Cubism, Purism and Constructvism. In 1928, after spending a semester at the Bauhaus in Dessau, she took up the camera and quickly moved from avant-garde art to avant-garde photography.
