This publication, the first of Hallwalls' Project Room/Artist Book Series, was produced on the occasion of the exhibition "Adam's Sorrow: Genetic Mutation and the Fall of Man", a Hallwalls Project Room Installation by Jon Tower, November 17-December 21, 1990. A section in the rear of the book titled "Errata" includes two texts: the Fall of Adam and Eve from the King James Version of the Bible, and a scientific report on Hexadactyly, the hereditary condition of being born with six fingers or six toes. The graphic voice imprint is of Tower reading the passage from Genesis.
