The front edges of the boards are chipped with creasing to the front edge of the front board. Title, [vi], pages 1-472, , 473-918 plus 28-page index. Illustrated with title page decorations and elaborately decorative head-pieces & initials. Pages 418-419 are skipped in the numbering without any loss of text. There are early paper repairs to the corners of pages 373-376 with the loss of 1 word. Very good.
This book published in 1743 and 1744 is the fifth and last volume [Parts 49-60] of a series, the first part of which was published in 1741. The series consists of a collection of public reports and documents relating to the state of affairs in Silesia during the reign of Frederick the Great of Prussia. For centuries part of Poland, Silesia was siezed from Austria by Frederick the Great in 1742. The text is in German. First Edition.
