There are 2 small, light glue marks to the bottom corner of the front wrap with a long crease & a tiny chip along its front edge. There is a short tear to the front edge of the rear wrap. Title, 119 & [3] pages. Profusely illustrated with mathematical formulas. Good.

Kazdan notes that this book is a slightly modified extract from the Harvard University Lecture Notes "Intermediate Calculus and Linear Algebra".

Jerry Lawrence Kazdan [born 31 October, 1937] is a mathematician noted for his work in differential geometry and the study of partial differential equations. His contributions include the Berger–Kazdan comparison theorem, which was a key step in the proof of the Blaschke conjecture and the classification of Wiedersehen manifolds. Since 1966, he has been a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania.
