Very good. - Quarto, 11 inches high by 8-3/4 inches wide. 3 hardcover volumes uniformly bound in light grayish olive cloth with printed paper labels on the spines. The top edges are gilt. The labels are lightly darkened with some minor chipping. The covers are slightly rubbed and soiled with some staining to the front cover of the third volume. 1,462 consecutively numbered pages, illustrated with photographic plates throughout, including illustrations of the monuments commemorating New Yorker's who fought at Gettysburg and portraits of the generals. Also illustrated with a total of 5 folding maps with color outlines, laid into pockets at the front of each volume. There is some offsetting to the front endpapers. An unusually attractive set.
