- Quarto [11 inches high by 8-5/8 inches wide], softcover. Printed self-wrappers. 86 pages. The edges of the wraps are darkened & the page corners in the first half of the magazine are slightly creased. With a selection of 16 black-and-white illustrations. Good.

A wonderful double issue which celebrates Film Culture's award of its Tenth [1969] Independent Film Award to Kenneth Anger for "Invocation of My Demon Brother" with notes on the film by Jonas Mekas, P. Adams Sitney and Richard Whitehall. Among the contents are an interview with Hollis Frampton by Michael Snow; Robert Nelson on Robert Nelson and Yoko Ono on Yoko Ono; three contributons by Stan Vanderbeek; and articles on Jordan Belson, Robert Beavers, Ron Rice, Jean-Luc Godard, Georges Melies and Mrinal Sen. Also included is a four-page report on the controversy surrounding "Thunder Over Mexico" and an article on artificial movements by Alexander Alexeieff.
