- Small octavo, red cloth titled in gilt on the spine & in black with a device in red & black on the front cover. The binding is bumped, rubbed & dampstained with bubbling to the cloth of the front cover. The head & tail of the spine are chipped. xvi & 164 pages plus 4-page publisher's catalog. The pastedowns are slightly bubbled. There is an owner's ink name with ink notations & a date stamp on the front endpaper. There are also date stamps in the margins of several text pages with some ink notes on page 12. There are short tears to the front edges of pages vii-x. There is staining to several pages & some page edges are darkened. Illustrated in black & white with 3 plates & textual illustrations, including architectural plans. Good. An architect's book about the provision of healthy, liveable housing for the poor and the working-class.
