- Quarto [approximately 11 inches high by 8-1/2 inches wide], softcover bound in later plain greenish gray wraps. The wraps are darkened & chipped around the edges with staining & soiling to the rear wrap. 12 pages. Illustrated with a black-and-white frontispiece [naval architectural plans]. There is light creasing to the front edges of the leaves & there are small pieces out of the corners of most of the leaves. There is light foxing & soiling to the frontispiece & the first text page. There are light vertical creases to the wraps & to each leaf where the pamphlet has been folded. Good. Extracted from the Transactions of the Institution of Naval Architects.
