- Octavo, gray paper-backed light blue paper covered boards titled in blue on spine. The covers are slightly rubbed & soiled with some slight darkening at edges and to spine. There is a small slit to the paper along the front joint at head of spine. 69 pages and 28 plates, mostly portraits and facsimiles. Very good. First edition of this classic work in its field. An important reference tool which itself is printed from silvertype plates produced by the Silverstone Stereotyping process.
