- Octavo, gray paper covered boards backed with green buckram & titled in gilt on the front board with a printed paper label on the spine in a dust wrapper. The tail of the spine is slightly faded. The dust jacket is lightly chipped with light soiling to the rear panel. There is a short tear to the top edge of the front fold & a piece out of the jacket spine. [vii], 116 & [1] pages. Illustrated with pictorial endpaper maps & with 18 black-and-white plates with tissue guards, including a frontispiece. Near fine in a very good dust wrapper. First edition. Articles from "Saturday Night", collected in book form and describing "a Mediterranean trip with many side excursions", which took in sites in Egypt, Spain, Madeira, Tunisia, Greece, Turkey, Italy and the French Riviera. Scarce in the dust wrapper.
