- Octavo, softcover bound in pictorial gray wrappers with a cover illustration in black depicting Queen Maeve hunting, after a woodcut by Elinor Monsell. The binding is lightly bumped & creased with the extremities darkened & with a tiny tear to the front edge of the front wrap. 20 pages. There is a small stain to the fore-edge with tiny stains to the front edges of several leaves. Very good.

- Octavo, black cloth with printed paper labels on the front cover & spine. The binding is lightly bumped & rubbed. The label on the front cover is lightly soiled. The label on the spine is darkened with a tiny white stain & 1 corner out. [vi] & 60 pages plus publisher's ad. There is occasional very light soiling. Very good.

Second American edition, but the first with Shaw's text unaltered from its original publication in The Savoy in 1896.

The Savoy was a London quarterly edited by Arthur Symons.
