- Octavo, yellow cloth with vignettes of airplanes on the front cover & spine. The spine & extremities are faded with soiling to the tail of the spine. The covers are lightly bumped & there are 3 brown marks to the rear cover. 203 & [1] pages. Black-and-white illustrations with a folding map in the rear. The page edges are darkened. Very good. Later printing. An inscription on the front endpaper signed "Deine Hansel" may quite possibly be that of the author. The book is the story of the flight of the "Atlantis", a German plane lost in the Australian outback, and the rescue of the crew by Aboriginals. The text is in German.
