With an introduction by Lord Esher. Octavo, green cloth. Head of spine bumped; 3 tiny white stains to covers. xi, 131 & [1] pp. 2 B&W frontispieces & 14 plates, 8 in color. In slipcase. Near fine. 500 numbered copies were published, this copy being unnumbered. Originally published London/NY: [Constable & Co. Ltd./R. R. Bowker Co], 1935-36. The 1981 edition has a new introduction to each volume by John Carter. Part One lists the same authors as the 1935 edition with the addition of Thomas Hughes. Price: 65.00 USD
