- Quarto [11-1/4 inches high by 10-5/8 inches wide], tan cloth titled in gilt on the spine in a pictorial dust wrapper. The spine of the dust jacket & the edges of the panels are slightly faded & the edges of the flaps are slightly darkened. There is a tiny stain to the top edge of the rear panel & a light pink mark to the head of the jacket spine. 189 & [3] pages. 76 black-and-white plates, including 4 folding plates, & a few black-and-white illustrations. There are splotches of dark dampstains along the top edge of the book. Else, very good. First edition. The text includes an introduction by Anna Farova and a verbal "self-portrait" by the photographer.
