The wraps are chipped & stained with small pieces out. The back strip is perished & the lower half of the front wrap is detached. There is a heavy stain to the top edge of the label, partially affecting 2 letters of the title. 60 pages plus 12-page publisher's catalog. There is scattered foxing & light staining & a number of page corners are lightly creased. Good working example only. First separate and first U.S. edition. Scarce wraps issue. Price: 45.00 USD

Good - Octavo, original front wrap rebound into brown cloth with a gilt-lettered black paper label on the spine. The spine & extremities are faded. The covers are lightly bumped & spotted with a light stain to the bottom edge of the front cover. The left & right edges of the label are slightly chipped. vi & pages [7]-217, printed in 2 columns, plus a 22-page publisher's catalog. The title page is foxed & there is occasional light foxing throughout. Lacks the rear wrapper. Good. First American edition. Price: 75.00 USD

The covers are bumped & lightly spotted; the spine is slightly faded with the tail lightly chipped & fraying to the head. xi & pp. [12]-417 & 2-page publisher's catalog. The hinges are just starting & there is a piece out of the front edge of the front endpaper; the top corners of a few rear leaves are creased with tiny pieces out; the page edges are darkened.
