- Small octavo, cloth in a dust wrapper. The binding is slightly bumped. The dust jacket is darkened, soiled & chipped with pieces out. There is some light staining to the spine & to the top inner corner of the rear panel. vii, [i], 414 & [1] pages plus 2-page publisher's catalog. Illustrated with a black-and-white portrait frontispiece with a tissue guard & with music staves. There is a stain to the front pastedown. Very good in a good dust wrapper. Inscribed by Rebekah Crawford, author of books on musical subjects, and signed in full on the front endpaper. A picture postcard of Chopin is tipped onto the front pastedown.
