The wraps are rubbed & chipped with pieces out of the heads & tails of the spines & with a tear & a tiny piece out of the rear wrap of Vol. 2. The front wrap of Vol. 1, together with the half-title & title, is almost detached. The glassine dust jackets are chipped & darkened with tears & pieces out. Half-title, title & 351 pages; and half-title, title & 290 pages. The fore-edges are untrimmed. 1 signature in Vol. 2 is loose. There is scattered foxing & staining throughout. Given the fragility of the books, they are in overall good condition. First edition in French. Price:
