A brief biography of Dinah Maria Mulock, told for young people, is given in the rear of the book. Born in Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England in 1826, she married publisher and man-of-letters George Lillie Craik. She was a novelist and poet as well as a writer for children. Price:
