- Octavo, black cloth with a color pictorial label mounted on the front cover, in a dust wrapper. The covers are lightly bumped with a light stain & 2 small scotch tape marks to the rear cover & a small area of light spotting to the top corner of the front cover & label. The spine is slightly faded with the tail lightly chipped. The dust jacket is rubbed & lightly chipped with light staining to the front panel. 2 pieces of black tape have been mounted on the jacket spine internally, which have caused staining to the the head & tail. viii, 1 leaf & 355 pages.There is an owner's inscription & another owner's signature on the front endpaper & there is a large piece out of the front endpaper's lower half. There are scotch tape marks to the top & bottom edges of both endpapers. Color frontispiece & black-and-white full-page illustrations & vignettes by Helen Mason Grose. Good.
