Near fine in very good dw. From Leonard Bernstein's library, inscribed to him on the fly leaf: "To Maestro Bernstein / Sakata". Sakata [b. 1941] worked under Richard Avedon in New York beginning in 1966, and Avedon's influence can be seen here. In 1989 he had a one-man show, "Oriental Faces", at the Touko Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo. Toshiharu Ito's introductory essay and the photo captions are printed in Japanese and English. Price:
