Myrtle, Harriet [ Miller, Lydia Falconer (Fraser); 1811?-1876]. ADVENTURE OF A KITE.

- 12mo [4-1/2 inches high by 3 inches wide], red cloth titled in red within a gilt rectangle on the spine with decorative frames stamped in blind on both covers. The binding is bumped & rubbed. The front cover is stained with a tear to the cloth at the top edge. There are some tiny stains to the rear cover. Illustrated in black & white with a frontispiece, pictorial series title & 2 full-page illustrations. There is scattered foxing, including to the margins of the plates. Good. First edition. "Electrotyped at the Boston Stereotype Foundry, no. 4 Spring Lane". The book, which also contains "An Autumn Flood" and "The Little Milk-Maid" is one of "The Rosebud Series, for Young Children".
