A NICE ASSOCIATION COPY INSCRIBED BY WILL RANSOM TO ARTHUR W. RUSHMORE OF THE GOLDEN HIND PRESS - 12mo, 4-1/2 inches high by 3 inches wide. Softcover, bound in decorative orange & black batik wraps. The covers are slightly creased and rubbed. [ii], 16 & [2] pages. There is some minor offsetting to the first and last page. Near fine.

Limited edition of fewer than 300 copies, signed by Will Ransom.

A Christmas gift book and the first book of the Fraroran Press. "Of this, the first completed production of The Fraroran Press a few less than three hundred copies have been printed, finished December 15th 1929."

The Fraroran Press was the creation of Frances Rose Ransom, the daughter of graphic designer and bibliographer Will Ransom.

A nice association copy, given to Atrhur W. Rushmore of the Golden Hind Press by Will Ransom. Inscribed and signed by Will Ransom on the "Holiday Greetings" presentation leaf at the front.

The Fiona Macleod poem was first published in "By Sundown Shores" (1902).
