The spine & extremities are darkened & the wraps are very slightly soiled with a light crease to the bottom corner of the front wrap. 35 & [3] pages plus colophon. The page edges are darkened. An original etching by Sergio Romiti serves as a frontispiece with a tissue guard. Good, with the etching in fine condition. Limited edition of 70 copies with an original etching signed, numbered and dated by Sergio Romiti. This is number 30 of 70 etchings. An Italian translation of "Knowledge of Light" by American poet Henry Rago [1916-1969]. The English original and the translation are printed on facing pages. Rago edited "Poetry", the poetry review founded by Harriet Monroe in Chicago in 1912. Italian painter Sergio Romiti was born in Bologna in 1928. He began painting in 1946 and participated in an important exhibition of contemporary art in Bologna in 1948. He ended his own life on March 12, 2000.
