- Small quarto [approximately 7 inches high by 5-3/8 inches wide] pictorial paper covered boards in a matching dust wrapper. The boards are bumped & lightly soiled with the head & tail of the spine lightly chipped. The dust jacket is faded, soiled & chipped. The bottom edge of the rear panel is creased with a short tear & there is a long tear to the bottom edge of the front panel. Unpaginated. Illustrated in color with a frontispiece & 22 plates by Hugo Olof Von Hofsten. There is an owner's book label on the front pastedown. There is scattered light soiling & staining with heavier stains to the verso of 1 plate & the facing text page. The illustrations are clean & bright. Good. Scarce in the dust wrapper.
