There is some minor light green staining inside the top edge of the dust jacket, seen only when the dust jacket is removed. Half-title, title, [3] leaves & 245 pages. Near fine. First edition. Inscribed on the half-title in the year of publication by golf legend Sam Snead: "...Let's get together on the golf course soon-- / Sam Snead". The book is described on the dust wrapper as "one fan's journey into the soul of American sports". Steve Ruskin drove around the country for a year visiting American sports shrines.
