- Quarto [10 inches high by 9-7/8 inches wide]. 119 unbound leaves [color and black-and-white reproductions of artwork], including an 8-page unbound booklet, are laid into a gray cloth covered box, 11 inches square and 2-1/2 inches deep. The box is titled in black with a decoration in green on the spine & lid. A cassette tape of music is mounted on the inside of the lid. As is often the case, the final artwork, #127,is missing. There is some very light offsetting to the cover of the booklet with a very light creasing to its bottom corner. The corners of the box are slightly bumped with 2 small areas of rubbing to the rear panel & a small, light stain to the lid. Near fine. Edition of 2,500 sets. Laid in are a card/order form illustrated in black and white, and a folded leaflet with quotes from the artists and others and including an order form. "A Hundred Legends" was a joint program of DIFFA and Northern Lights Alternatives, a national nonprofit organization sponsoring alternative education and support programs, including a workshop for people living with AIDS. Proceeds from the project went to fund programs for persons with AIDS to pursue creative expression.
