Very good - Octavo, softcover, printed self-wraps. 55 pages & 1 blank, sewn with cream cord, unopened. The front edges of the leaves are lightly creased with a few front edges lightly chipped. The edges of the title & rear blank are darkened & the blank is lightly soiled. There is minor foxing to a few pages. Very good. Silas Wright was Governor of New York State from 1845-1847. This was most probably a "state of the state" address. Among the subjects of the message are the state's revenues and expenses, education, prisons, the state lunatic asylum and the judiciary. Price:
