- Small octavo, brown cloth backed with black calf between double rules & decorations in blind on the spine. The covers are rubbed & bumped. The cloth of the front cover is detached along the spine & there is a small hole in the cloth of the rear cover. The spine is heavily rubbed. Vignette title, [1] leaf & 275 pages. The book is cracked at the flyleaf. There are several owner's signatures on the front pastedown & endpaper, one of them dated 1858, with an additional signature on the flyleaf. There is a stain to the fore-edge with light staining to the inner corners of the pages in the first half of the book. There are pencil notations in the first half of the text & on the rear blanks & rear pastedown. A good working copy. The text is in Greek.
