The wraps are rubbed, bumped & chipped with creasing to the corners. The front wrap is partially detached & there is a piece out of its bottom corner. There are tears to the spine with pieces out of the head & tail. 240 pages plus ads. Illustrated with tables & diagrams & with pictorial ads in black & white. The page corners in the first half of the book are lightly bumped & the bottom corners of the first few leaves are creased. Good working copy.

The contents are laid into a printed bluish gray paper covered box with 6 vignettes on the front panel. The rear panel of the box is lightly soiled & there are 2 tiny stains to the front panel. A "JB Papers" label is mounted on the front panel. Laid in are a printed statement from Mohawk Paper Mills; a 16- page 4" by 9" booklet, "Threading the Labyrinth of Design"; a 22-page 10- 1/2" x 16" book, "The Mazes and Labyrinths Feature Presentation", which includes 2 punch-outs for the "ball-in-the maze" game; the Mohawk Poseidon paper sample book; and a plastic packet containing the steel balls for the game. Two posters listed as "separately packaged" are not present. Near fine in a very good box.

The front panel copy reads: "To show the versatility and excellence of its Mohawk Poseidon and other fine printing papers, Mohawk Paper Mills invites you to take this meandering journey through Man's (and Nature's) romance with Mazes & Labyrinths and the wondrous workings of Intricate Pathways from the ancient myths of Knossos to the micro chip and tomorrow's trip to another planet."

In "The Mazes and Labyrinths Feature Presentation", which traces the 4,000 year history of mazes and labyrinths, are 2 punch-outs for the ball-in-the-maze game. The game consists of trying to roll the small steel balls through the maze.
