HITCHCOCK ON HITCHCOCK - Quarto, 10 inches high by 7-1/2 inches wide. Softcovers, bound in stapled pictorial white wraps. The covers are soiled. 48 pages, profusely illustrated throughout with photographs from Hitchcock's films. Very good.

First edition. Rare.

A highly valuable catalog in that it contains much of Hitchcock's own commentary on his films and his responses to questions such as: "How would you define pure cinema?" and '"What is your technique of working with actors?" These remarks were gleaned from an interview Bogdanovich conducted in February 1963.
