- Octavo, stapled pictorial B&W wraps. Very lightly rubbed & soiled. 1 B&W facsimile. Near fine. An introductory note explains that this material was offered at auction by Sotheby & Co. [London] in July 1971 as a series of individual lots. The House of El Dieff purchase the entire group of lots and here offers them as a collection until December 1, 1972, after which it states that orders will be taken for individual lots. The catalogue gives the auction sale price for each set of proofs in pounds and El Dieff's prices in dollars, along with the total auction price and the total price for the collection.

London: Published at the Sign of the Open Book, 1927.
- Octavo, printed green wraps with the title and a vignette in black on the front cover. The overlapping edges of the covers are creased. Illustrated with several plates. Very good. Starting with "Joseph Conrad Behind the Scenes: Unpublished Notes on his Dramatization", the periodical then addresses "First Editions Among Cheap Issues of Mid-Victorian Days" written by John Locke, "The Lost Novel of Thomas Hardy", endpapers, and A.C. Carter's article "Books and Manuscripts in the Sales Room". However, the meat of this periodical is P.H. Muir's "A Bibliography of the First Editions of Books by George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans) (1819-1880)".

- Square octavo, cloth backed decorative paper covered boards, in dw. Bumped; paper chipped along edges of boards; spine spotted; the dw is rubbed & chipped with pieces out. 110 pp. plus 40 & [8] pp. of B&W stills from the film. Also illustrated with 3 color plates & B&W textual illustrations from drawings & sketches made for the film. Stain to the fore-edge. Good. First American edition.

- Square octavo, green cloth backed decorative paper covered boards titled in black on spine, in dw. The boards are bumped & lightly rubbed & the spine is slightly faded; the dw is chipped & lightly rubbed with the spine somewhat faded. xv & 110 pp. & 48 pp. of B&W illustrations. Also illustrated with color plates & B&W textual illustrations. Very good in a good dw. First American edition, second issue. The complete scenario for the film, including the original text of the play with a few minor cuts and alterations and with new scenes which Eliot wrote especially for the film. The book has a preface by Eliot and another by George Hoellering, who produced and directed the film.
