The gilt on the spine is almost completely faded. The binding is rubbed & bumped with the head & tail of the spine lightly chipped. There is some white spotting to the rear cover. 506 pages. Profusely illustrated with diagrams & music staves. There is some light foxing to the fore-edge. Good.
Songs of the Copper Eskimos recorded on a phonograph between 1914 and 1916, either at Bernard harbour in Dolphin and Union Straits, or at Eskimo settlements in the immediate vicinity. A few songs of more western Eskimos were obtained from some natives who were employed by the expedition.
