The bottom corner of the front cover is lightly creased. Pages [1]-74 plus [2] pages of ads. Illustrated with a few textual sketches. There is a small chip & dampstaining to the top edge of each page. Good reading copy. "Section 'B' of the American Institute for Scientific Research". The featured articles in this issue are concerned with questions of life after death. "Human Personality: Objections to Belief in Immortality" (Part 6) by Hartley B. Alexander discusses how the intimate relationship of body and mind is "an obstacle to belief in a spiritual survival of bodily death". "Prof. Muensterberg and Dr. Hodgson" by James H. Hyslop contrasts the experiences of a Mrs. Piper and Dr. Hodgson with the professor's sceptical views on immortality. "A Record of Experiments", also by Hyslop, introduces the first of a series of detailed records of Hyslop's investigations of paranormal activities. This one concerns experiments with a Ouija board.
