- Quarto, 11-7/8 inch high by 9-1/8 inch wide. Cream boards decorated with a maroon heraldry pattern with "fleur de lys" decorations alternating with those of a "lion rampant". There is minor staining to the rear cover and a check mark in green on the front cover. These 26 original letters, notes and telegrams were sent by invited guests who were apparently unable to attend the wedding but wished to express their congratulations or regrets.
