- Small octavo, brown cloth titled in gilt on the spine with decorations in blind on both covers. The covers are bumped & the head & tail of the spine are chipped. iv & pages [5]-215 plus a partially unopened 16-page publisher's catalog. There is a contemporary owner's ink name & the date "1858" on the fly leaf. There are tiny tears & creases to the bottom edges of a number of leaves in the mid-section of the book and 2 leaves of the catalog have been roughly opened. Good.
