The covers are bumped & rubbed with small, light stains; the spine is faded with the head & tail lightly chipped. 339 pp. Color frontispiece & numerous full-page B&W portraits. There is an owner's small stamp on the front endpaper, else the contents are very good.

Limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies, signed by Charles W. Bowring and Francis H. Tabor of the Society's committee.

St. George's was a charitable society run by and for Englishmen in New York City.
