The spine is slightly faded & rubbed and the top corners of the covers and head of the spine are lightly bumped. There is minor spotting to the edges of the covers. 184 pages, profusely illustrated in color and black & white throughout. There is minor foxing to the front edge of the first page. Very good. Among the contents is an article about the the "Aluminum Co. of America", illustrated with photographs by Margaret Bourke-White; an article on "The American Roadside" with color illustrations by John Steuart Curry; photographs by Walker Evans illustrating an article "The Communist Party; "U.S. Hairdressing" includes numerous "candid-camera" photos taken in Saks Fifth Avenue, New York. In addition, an ad for Camels features tennis star Ellsworth Vines, Jr. There is an advertising photo by Steichen for Matson Line-Oceanic Line. Also included is a half-page illustration by Rockwell Kent for The Commercial National Bank and Trust Company.
