Very good. - William L. Clement's original 3-3/4 inch high by 2-3/4 inch high engraved armorial bookplate. A banner at the top of the image proclaims "In Time" above a winged hourglass. Below the image of flying time is a shield decorated by 3 doves on one side and 3 pennants on the other. The shield is itself framed on each side by a doe climbing up towards the hourglass. Illustrated in black & white with 1 plate & 50 full-page reproductions of Danish bookplates. The contents are very good.
